Tedious experiments go to machines
Experiments take labour. Instead of filling that labour with people, we hand it to machines. Plating-bath analysis, measurement and logging, repeated test runs. Give the work people used to repeat to equipment and the run count rises without adding hands or hours, until it reaches the volume statistics can work on.
The way in is retrofitting the equipment you already have: add a sensor and a link to a meter that only shows a dial, and physical AI starts cheaper than building from scratch.

Areas We Work In
Technical Development and Invention
Our inventions go from writing the specification to filing in our own hands; applications are pending in sintered-resin manufacturing processes and laboratory apparatus. The goal is to bring the filed technology into use as equipment and reagents: intellectual property put to work in society.
Chemical Analysis & Research
Analysing plating baths and cleaning solutions starts with designing the measurement method and the test conditions. Narrow the candidates in silico, confirm them by experiment, run the results through statistics and machine learning, and feed them back as the next candidates. The more of that loop computation carries, the fewer trials the experimenter runs by hand.
Instrument Repair and Retrofit
The subject is the measuring instruments in labs and factories: data loggers, chart recorders and the like. Values are taken from RS-232C, RS-485, SCPI, 4-20 mA or a contact output; an instrument with no output gets a sensor added, so an AI agent can read it. An instrument made readable is, as it stands, the way into automation.

Building a Windows on ARM Test Environment on a Mac: VMware Fusion + Windows 11 ARM64
The Japan Patent Office e-filing software is Windows-only, and the Mac build was discontinued — so there is no filing route from a Mac. I built a Windows 11 ARM64 environment on an Apple Silicon Mac with VMware Fusion instead. Fusion has been free (commercial use included) since November 2024, and the Windows 11 ARM64 ISO is available from Microsoft directly. This covers the biggest setup hurdle, getting past the Microsoft account requirement, plus the settings that make it a driver test bench (disabling Secure Boot, USB passthrough, snapshots), on the actual setup in use (Fusion 26.0.0 / M3 Max).

Windows on ARM emulates x64 applications, but drivers are excluded from emulation. The SONY PaSoRi RC-S380 NFC reader has an x64-only vendor driver, so I wrote an ARM64-native PC/SC driver for it: a UMDF2 virtual reader plus a Python relay. This is a field report from a thinly documented area. It covers the workaround for the WDK's missing MSBuild integration, an undocumented mandatory attribute called SCARD_ATTR_CHANNEL_ID, and a cache that faked success after USB disconnect.
